Payment Gateway Terms

How online payments work in Kreeda through QueoTech Payment Hub and Easebuzz, and the responsibilities of academies that collect fees online.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Payment partners

Online payments in Kreeda are processed through QueoTech Payment Hub, which connects to Easebuzz, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. Depending on what the payer chooses and the Academy enables, payments can be made by UPI, UPI Autopay, debit or credit card, net banking or wallets.

2. Two kinds of merchant accounts

  • Kreeda subscriptions are collected by Queo Technologies using its own merchant account.
  • Academy fee collection uses the Academy's own QueoTech merchant account. Money paid by parents settles to the Academy's bank account, not to Kreeda.

3. Academy onboarding and KYC

  • To collect fees online, an Academy must complete merchant onboarding and KYC with QueoTech Payment Hub / Easebuzz, including business, bank and identity verification as required by RBI rules.
  • The Academy saves its publishable key in Kreeda Settings → Payments and can turn online payments on or off at any time.
  • The gateway partner may approve, reject, hold or suspend a merchant account under its own policies. Kreeda cannot override those decisions.
  • Merchant discount rates (MDR), settlement cycles and any gateway fees are agreed between the Academy and the payment partner.

4. Card and bank data

Payers enter card, UPI or bank details directly on the gateway's secure checkout. Kreeda never receives, stores or processes full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials. Kreeda stores only the transaction reference, amount, status and payment method type needed to show receipts.

5. Payment confirmation

After payment, the hub sends a server-to-server notification (webhook) to Kreeda. Kreeda verifies each notification with an HMAC-SHA256 signature using a constant-time comparison, rejects anything that does not match, and processes each transaction once so a repeated notification cannot mark a fee paid twice. Only after verification is the invoice marked paid and a receipt issued.

6. UPI Autopay mandates

  • A payer who chooses Autopay approves a recurring mandate in their UPI app for a specified maximum amount and frequency.
  • A pre-debit notification is sent at least 24 hours before each debit, as required by NPCI.
  • The payer can pause or revoke the mandate at any time from their UPI app.

7. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

  • Refunds for Academy fees are decided and initiated by the Academy through its merchant account. See our Payments & Refund Policy.
  • Chargebacks raised by payers are handled by the payment partner and the merchant who received the money. Academies must respond to chargeback requests for their fee payments within the timelines set by the partner.
  • Kreeda will share transaction records it holds to help resolve disputes.

8. Prohibited use

Academies may use online payments only for genuine fees and services related to their academy. Collecting payments for unrelated businesses, prohibited goods, gambling, or on behalf of third parties is not allowed and may lead to suspension by the payment partner and by Kreeda.

9. Liability

Kreeda provides the software that creates invoices, opens checkout and records payments. Queo Technologies is not a bank or payment aggregator and does not hold Academy funds. We are not liable for delays, failures or decisions of banks, card networks, NPCI or payment partners, but we will help investigate any technical issue on our side.
